Imagine five friends.
They've spent all day at school, in class.
They're tired.
All they want to do is sit with each other and chat. Preferably with a cup of tea and something to eat.
But they are being called to something more.
The breath of God is in each of them, and He cannot wait to get out into the world.
The five are called to something special, and they decide to answer the call.
So they sit around, they eat, and they chat.
...They grow as disciples.
Root Group is church for under 18s. It is a place to have fellowship together in the cafe at the start of the evening, and by learning from the Bible things which are relevant to our lives, simple to understand, yet powerful enough to make a difference.
There is no sermon; we learn by asking questions and discussing our opinions. The whole point of the evening is that we meet with God through the Bible, being together, and prayer and worship.
