Alpha

more to life

The Uncut Project loves sharing the Gospel and questions about life, so we run an Alpha course periodically.

The Alpha course is designed for those people who aren't Christians, but who want to find out just what it is that Christians believe. People attend for a wide variety of reasons - some want to investigate whether God exists; others are concerned about what happens after death. Some people have particular questions that they would like to discuss; others want to understand other peoples' beliefs or would like to explore what the purpose of life is. Many guests have never been to church, others may have attended church occasionally but feel they have never really understood the basics of the Christian faith.

We have a course starting on the 23rd September 2010 specifically for young people (under 18s).  It runs for 11 weeks, with a break for half-term. We will be discussing questions like, 'Who is Jesus?', 'Why did Jesus have to Die?', and 'How can I be sure of my faith?' The evenings start at 7.30pm and finish at 9pm.

As well as discussion and a chance to ask questions, we also have food together, make new friends, and generally have a great time!
