Missions

The Uncut Project is committed to proclaiming the Good News of Jesus Christ through word and action in the city of Sheffield and beyond. Our work includes school’s evangelism, projects working with the homeless and our overseas short term missions trips.

The missions department was set up in 2003, and 2004 saw our first ever missions project and trip to Zizin in Romania. It was a great success! 2005 saw our second overseas project established, working alongside Paul and Elaine Briers to put our faith into action and see God's love and blessing touch the people of South Africa.

In 2006, our outreach teams headed out to both Romania and South Africa to continue to have an impact on the communities there.

In 2009 (and coming back in 2010!) we ran a trip to Perranporth to work with Scripture Union. Find out more here!

As well as these yearly missions projects we run something called the Noonday Project which is a Sheffield-based project working with Big Issue sellers.
